Cost Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive support to the Quantity Surveying team with both pre- and post-contract tasks for clients.

• Manage multiple projects, typically three to four at a time, based on team assignments and sectors.

• Assist in all aspects of quantity surveying related to pre- and post-contract duties.

• Conduct tender analysis and bidding, manage tender document administration, perform material take-offs and pricing, measure works, and assess variations.

• Generate cost estimates, handle subletting, prepare extension of time claims, and manage payment and variation certifications as well as final account settlements.

• Coordinate with contractors and specialized suppliers.

• Provide support for administrative tasks.

• Participate in site inspections, visits, site meetings, and tender interviews as necessary.

• Cultivate foundational Quantity Surveying skills and experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience post-qualification in quantity surveying or commercial management.

• Ideally, possess experience in data centers, E&M, construction, fit-out, or capital projects.

• Demonstrated history of successful project involvement and a strong QS skill set.

• Solid understanding of commercial best practices within the HK fitting-out industry.

• Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.

• Capability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in engaging senior stakeholders in a corporate setting.

• Candidates must be based in Hong Kong.

• Availability to commence work in Q4 2026.

• Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Cost and Procurement Management, or a related discipline.
