This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Lead and manage the annual global standard cost update process.
• Oversee COGS data, including updating costs for existing items throughout the year.
• Track and evaluate key cost metrics and manufacturing variances for facilities in Iceland and Poland.
• Provide inventory and variance analysis to manufacturing management and the Finance Business Partner for Operations.
• Collaborate with local manufacturing directors on cost management, accounting issues, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Assist with Finance Control activities, including quarterly and year-end closing, along with COGS and inventory-related analyses and initiatives.
• Work in conjunction with Finance Control, IT, Operations, Finance Business Partners, and manufacturing leaders in Iceland and Poland.
• Communicate analysis and insights with stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Maintain standard business hours, with occasional cross-time zone meetings as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and comfort in handling financial and operational data.
• Experience in an international setting and coordinating activities among various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written; knowledge of Polish would be a plus.
• Advanced skills in Excel; experience with SQL is beneficial.
• A project-oriented mindset with the capability to independently collect, organize, and convey information.
• Interest in further developing skills in data analytics and applying data to inform business decisions.
