Corporate Lawyer – Legal Counsel Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver legal counsel, acting as the primary attorney on legal inquiries.

• Counsel on contractual risks and commercial solutions while aligning business goals with legal obligations.

• Draft, examine, and negotiate commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, contract addenda, NDAs, termination letters, and other client-facing documents.

• Manage contract templates and supervise internal approval processes.

• Work in collaboration with insurance brokers regarding contractual endorsements.

• Provide continuous legal training to the Americas Sales Team.

• Keep track of regulatory changes, evaluate their implications and risks, and deliver updates and recommendations.

• Assist in the adoption and integration of AI-driven legal technology tools to enhance contract review processes and improve efficiency.

• Coordinate support from external legal counsel.

• Execute other tasks as reasonably requested by Senior Management.

• Report to the Head of Legal and offer counsel to business stakeholders throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a practicing transactional lawyer in the U.S.

• At least 3 years of experience in negotiating SaaS agreements.

• Active license to practice law in the United States.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Strong negotiation abilities and contract drafting skills.

• Capability to communicate professionally and offer approachable legal advice suited to the audience.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with EcoVadis stakeholders and legal representatives of contracting counterparties.
