This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, pursue, and cultivate new high-volume, multi-unit, and strategic foodservice opportunities across the nation.
• Establish relationships with owners, executives, operators, purchasing leaders, culinary leaders, developers, and other key decision-makers.
• Comprehend customer requirements and pinpoint opportunities for foodservice equipment, supplies, and associated solutions.
• Conduct research on organizations, emerging chains, multi-unit operators, hospitality groups, healthcare systems, senior living organizations, and other high-volume clients.
• Formulate targeted account penetration strategies and generate new revenue streams.
• Identify forthcoming openings, renovations, expansions, conversions, acquisitions, and capital projects.
• Build and sustain a qualified opportunity pipeline, advancing prospects through the sales process.
• Utilize knowledge of foodservice equipment, distribution, manufacturing, and related industries to develop customer solutions.
• Foster relationships with manufacturers, consultants, dealers, distributors, architects, design firms, and industry partners.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, strategic partnerships, project management, equipment specialists, and internal teams.
• Monitor prospecting activities and pipeline development.
• Report on anticipated revenue, customer engagement, and market trends.
• Achieve established business development and revenue goals.
• Report directly to the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent military or practical experience.
• Over 5 years of progressive experience in business development, ideally within the foodservice equipment sector.
• Proven history of driving revenue growth and enhancing market presence in a competitive landscape.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing intricate, high-impact projects.
• Strong grasp of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to navigate uncertainty and achieve results in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-growth organization and adjust to shifting priorities and market conditions.
• Capability to successfully pass a background check after offer acceptance.
• Established track record of identifying and developing new business, preferably within foodservice equipment, foodservice distribution, or a related industry.
• Solid understanding of foodservice operations, equipment, distribution channels, and purchasing processes.
• Ability to identify and cultivate multi-unit, high-volume, and strategic account opportunities.
• Experience in selling to or building relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Strong skills in prospecting, networking, relationship-building, and business development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Results-oriented focus on acquiring new customers, driving revenue growth, and achieving measurable business development outcomes.
