This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead growth initiatives that emphasize mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and opportunities for market expansion.
• Oversee market research, competitive assessments, and evaluations of industry trends to pinpoint strategic and tuck-in acquisitions along with other growth prospects.
• Establish and nurture relationships with practice leadership, bankers, brokers, consultants, investment banks, venture capital firms, and industry stakeholders.
• Evaluate key markets and segments, including emerging markets, CBSAs, existing specialties, and related fields.
• Perform financial, cultural, clinical, and operational analysis and due diligence before term-sheet negotiation.
• Formulate investment theses and identify critical value and success factors.
• Gather financial, operational, EMR, practice management, payer, clinician, and employee information during due diligence processes.
• Create financial models, valuation analyses, budgets, business cases, scenarios, and sensitivity analyses.
• Prepare, format, and scrutinize data for presentation to corporate stakeholders.
• Draft and review legal documents, including Letters of Intent (LOIs), term sheets, Asset Purchase Agreements (APAs), employment contracts, and restrictive covenants.
• Manage deal execution and timelines to ensure deliverables are met as planned.
• Collaborate with targets and business partners to ensure successful deal execution.
• Work alongside finance, legal, operations, and business development teams for transaction integration.
• Assist in post-merger integration and monitor performance metrics of acquired organizations.
• Serve as a liaison between sites and corporate personnel to facilitate efficient data gathering.
• Calculate fixed-fee payment tables for clinician payroll utilizing collections reports and contracted rates.
• Support clinician credentialing for new payer contracts.
• Transition relevant licenses and contracts.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance analysis, information collection, synthesis, and presentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or private equity, preferably with a focus on healthcare.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, M&A execution, and strategic planning.
• Preferred experience in healthcare M&A and integration.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management capabilities.
• Commanding executive presence with the ability to present to and influence senior leadership.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Self-driven team player with robust interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with corporate finance, capital markets, and transaction structuring.
• Capable of sitting, standing, bending, talking, hearing, and walking as necessary.
• Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Required visual abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, along with the capacity to adjust focus.
