Copilot Studio and Automation Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain AI and automation solutions utilizing tools such as Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Python, RPA platforms, and custom scripting.

• Create transformative, AI-driven virtual assistants, conversational interfaces, and other generative experiences for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business processes and uncover automation prospects.

• Incorporate AI/ML models into automation workflows to facilitate intelligent decision-making and predictive analytics.

• Develop APIs, Azure Function Apps, and microservices to support scalable and modular automation systems.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot solutions to guarantee reliability and scalability.

• Create documentation, test cases, and operational playbooks to assist with ongoing maintenance and enhancements.

• Ensure that all development activities adhere to information security best practices.

• Stay updated on automation trends, AI integration techniques, and emerging tools.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in AI development, automation engineering, software development, or a related field.

• Experience in building generative AI tools (utilizing platforms like Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, etc.) and successfully integrating them for effective business applications.

• Proven track record in designing and deploying automation solutions using RPA tools (Power Automate, UiPath, etc.) or custom automation frameworks.

• Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C#) and development tools such as Cursor and Windsurf.

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with leading LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini, grok, Claude), including expertise in prompt engineering and advanced techniques for managing LLM context and conversational memory.

• Experience with databases (Microsoft SQL Server) and data integration concepts.

• Experience in developing within Microsoft Power Platform applications (Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio).

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, particularly Finance & Operations and CRM.

• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices, including tools like Azure DevOps.

• Exceptional analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
