This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure the meticulous organization of all current contracts, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), contract stipulations, pricing structures, reporting, and other contractual obligations.
• Generate reports that convey the status of contracts to project managers and department leadership.
• Assess contract performance, terms, expenditures, and deliverables.
• Guarantee contract adherence to Performance Work Statements (PWS), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and other applicable federal and state laws; initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Anticipate and take necessary actions regarding contract modifications, Certificates of Insurance (COI), and representations and certifications.
• Collaborate across departments with program personnel, staff members, and key stakeholders.
• Assist in financial monitoring for all contracts using Unanet.
• Finalize closeout processes for assigned contracts in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Aid the Management Team in the development and upkeep of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and departmental policies.
• Maintain awareness of local and federal regulations impacting contracts.
• Apply Six Sigma/Lean methodologies to enhance efficiency and improve responsiveness.
• Execute additional duties as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field along with four or more years of related experience.
• Experience with both government and commercial contracts.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
• Background in cost-reimbursable, award fee, and incentive fee contracts.
• Familiarity with Firm Fixed Price contracts.
• Excellent communication skills, proficiency with computers, and strong negotiation abilities with clear oral and written communication.
• Capability to manage a range of complex issues simultaneously.
• Ability to lead with effective conflict resolution skills in a dynamic environment.
• NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM, and/or CCCM) or DAWIA is preferred.
• Experience with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) or other governmental organizations is preferred.
• Knowledge of business management software such as Unanet and Salesforce is preferred.
• Experience in analyzing and negotiating intricate agreements with clients is preferred.
