πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee, direct, and assist in the direct contracting initiatives for the three LLCs that make up S&K Technologies, Inc.’s construction division.

β€’ Manage the complete contracting process for construction and architect-engineering contracts from inception to completion.

β€’ Draft, review, negotiate, administer, and monitor commercial and federal construction subcontracts, prime contracts, purchase agreements, Master Service Agreements, and associated documentation.

β€’ Implement FAR, DFARS, S&K policies, commercial best practices, and other U.S. Government regulations and guidelines.

β€’ Provide timely and precise contract guidance to Project Managers and Project Leads throughout the project lifecycle.

β€’ Ensure that subcontract scopes, deliverables, flow-down requirements, prevailing wage standards, insurance, licensing, and risk stipulations are captured and enforced.

β€’ Interpret and apply FAR clauses, construction-related provisions, federal flow-downs, and customer contract stipulations.

β€’ Coordinate the reviews, approvals, routing, signatures, and filing of contracts.

β€’ Identify, mitigate, and provide advice on contractual risks, including scope gaps, schedule impacts, damages, commercial exposure, and compliance responsibilities.

β€’ Maintain contract records using SharePoint, Procore, and other organizational systems.

β€’ Develop, implement, and utilize templates for contract and procurement documents, such as negotiation memorandums, subcontracts, MSAs, change orders, modifications, letters of intent, lien releases, waivers, and Teaming Agreements.

β€’ Enhance contract tools, templates, workflows, and training resources.

β€’ Suggest contract terms and risk management strategies to minimize S&K’s exposure.

β€’ Collaborate with Operations, Project Controls, Finance, subsidiaries, internal departments, and external clients on project startup, execution, and closeout.

β€’ Analyze procurement laws, regulations, and contract trends for their impact on business operations.

β€’ Stay current in the contracting field and ensure adherence to Federal Procurement Policies and Procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A Bachelor's degree is required.

β€’ A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in construction and architect-engineering contracts and/or subcontract management is required.

β€’ Experience with U.S. government construction and architect-engineering contracting is essential.

β€’ Proven experience in preparing and managing commercial and federal construction subcontracts.

β€’ Extensive knowledge of construction-related FAR provisions, federal flow-down requirements, and the structure of government contracts for values ranging from micro-purchases to over $100M.

β€’ Understanding of construction contracting principles, including insurance, lien rights, flow-down clauses, and general commercial terms.

β€’ A degree in Business Administration, Contracting, or Finance is preferred.

β€’ Experience in contracting for telecommunications, vertical, civil, or utility projects is preferred.

β€’ Ability to carry out assigned responsibilities thoroughly and independently, without supervision, on short-term projects.
