Contracts Manager – Government Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee and coordinate Requests for Proposals, including pricing, modifications, and change orders.

• Solicit, award, and manage Purchase Orders and Subcontracts efficiently.

• Administer Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements with diligence.

• Utilize knowledge of Other Transaction Authority (OTA) and IDIQ contracts effectively.

• Provide support for Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) reviews and audits.

• Negotiate favorable outcomes on contracts to benefit the organization.

• Oversee contract and subcontract reporting systems comprehensively.

• Conduct research on FAR and recommend compliant strategies.

• Support various U.S. Government Federal programs diligently.

• Lead contractual processes in collaboration with all partners involved.

• Report directly to the VP, Chief Operations and Admin Officer at Westinghouse Government Services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management, particularly with federal contracts.

• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and agency supplements is essential.

• Understanding of government systems, programs, and contractual obligations involving a government entity, a private company, and various sub-contractors.

• Experience at the Department of Energy or Department of Defense is preferred.

• Certification as a Professional Contracts Manager or similar credential is preferred.

• Willingness to travel as needed.
