📋 Description

• Independently assess, draft, and negotiate a diverse range of commercial contracts.

• Distribute monthly bulletins regarding contracts.

• Deliver ongoing training on contracts and risk management to the organization.

• Draft and negotiate agreements with customers and suppliers, as well as real estate leases, software licenses, and contracts related to purchasing, sales, and insurance.

• Create customized agreements to meet specific business requirements and transactions.

• Ensure all contracts adhere to legal, regulatory, and company standards.

• Conduct research related to regulations and business, as well as review agreements and documentation.

• Serve as a point of escalation for Paralegals with questions or issues regarding contracts.

• Engage in special projects that require expertise in contracts.

• Offer strategic counsel to business stakeholders, executives at the Vice President level, and senior leaders on deal structuring, risk management, and transaction-related issues.

• Assist in the integration of newly acquired companies by assessing and updating contract templates and creating new ones.

• Provide guidance on commercial matters, contract interpretation, and disputes related to contracts.

• Contribute to the development and upkeep of contract playbooks, negotiation strategies, fallback positions, and standard agreement templates.

• Support the Legal team and business goals across a wide array of commercial issues.

• Follow internal standards, policies, and procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Over 5 years of experience as a contracts specialist.

• Proven ability to independently review, negotiate, and finalize a broad spectrum of commercial and government contracts.

• Experience with international and multi-jurisdictional agreements, requests for proposals (RFPs), and intricate procurement and contracting documents.

• Membership in NCMA.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Capability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a dynamic, highly professional environment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, negotiation, and legal reasoning skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently with others, coordinating internal and external activities that have legal implications for the Company.

• Competence in managing issues and workload autonomously with minimal oversight.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and CoPilot.

• Capability to fulfill essential job responsibilities satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
