Contracts Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee QAD’s global daily contract operations

• Create and manage the Legal intake queue, prioritizing requests by type, urgency, and risk

• Prepare and circulate agreements from customers, partners, and vendors for signatures

• Comply with delegation of authority policies and service levels

• Review, draft, and negotiate NDAs, customer agreements, CSAs, vendor agreements, SOWs, amendments, and partner documents

• Utilize AI-assisted review tools and playbooks, escalating high-risk deviations with clear recommendations

• Spearhead AI-driven contract workflow initiatives for automated intake, review, and routine query responses

• Enhance and maintain AI playbooks and self-service resources

• Optimize intake and routing workflows and sustain standard templates

• Act as a power user/admin for legal technology, including CLM implementation

• Keep an accurate, transaction-ready contract repository

• Provide guidance to business teams on contractual interpretation

• Assist Customer Success and renewal requests, license compliance, and audit inquiries

• Collaborate with Finance on collection/dispute workflows and contract rights assessments

• Manage legal notices to resolution

• Develop self-service resources and training to minimize routine Legal requests

• Work together with Sales, Deal Desk, Customer Success, Procurement, Finance, and Professional Services

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of contracts management experience in a dynamic software/SaaS environment

• Experience in a private equity-backed setting is preferred

• Must be able to work during US Eastern Time Zone hours

• Flexibility to accommodate APAC business hours as required

• Startup mentality with the capability to build, establish, and scale operational processes and playbooks

• Hands-on experience or a strong aptitude for AI-assisted contracting tools, CLM platforms, and intake/workflow automation tools

• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to foresee business needs and challenge assumptions

• Excellent business judgment with a customer-centric, solution-oriented mindset

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities

• Capability to effectively support cross-functional business units
