Contract Software Engineer – WebCompat Tooling, Dashboards and Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance WebCompat dashboards for triage, reporting, and metrics.

• Refine the screenshot capture process and pipeline for broken-site reports.

• Collaborate with the WebCompat team, including Quality Assurance, to transform reporting and triage requirements into dependable tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong web development skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, and Django, along with experience in creating dashboards and data views.

• Proficient in tooling, automation, and web services.

• Ability to work independently with effective written communication skills.

• Understanding of WebCompat workflows and Bugzilla.

• Experience in screenshot and automation pipelines.

• Knowledge of Machine Learning.
