Contract Recruiter, Talent Sourcer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct interviews, screenings, and extend job offers to prospective field and office personnel.

• Support Talent and Workforce Management initiatives and programs within the department.

• Deliver presentations at high schools and technical institutions.

• Build and sustain relationships with local educational institutions.

• Participate in recruitment events and engage with professional and trade organizations.

• Identify qualified candidates through databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, media, recruiting agencies, and employee referrals.

• Screen applicants and refer them to hiring managers, providing hiring recommendations when suitable.

• Interview candidates for current and future job openings.

• Maintain ongoing communication with hiring managers regarding their current and future staffing and business requirements.

• Attend weekly staffing meetings.

• Process candidates post-interview and complete necessary new-hire documentation.

• Assist hiring managers with HR policies, procedures, practices, and initiatives.

• Stay updated on HR laws, practices, procedures, and trends.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communication, or Business along with one year of experience in Human Resources; or an Associate’s degree paired with two years of administrative experience in Human Resources.

• Willingness to travel 20–50% of the time.

• Standard work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday, with the possibility of working outside these hours to accommodate business needs.

• Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.

• Capable of interviewing, screening, and recruiting both field and office employees.

• Familiarity with HR laws, practices, procedures, and trends.

• Ability to provide guidance and interpretation regarding HR policies, procedures, practices, and initiatives.
