Contract Modeling Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation and execution of a roadmap for a healthcare contract modeling platform, including its requirements and product backlog.

• Convert intricate payer contract language into comprehensive business rules, user stories, and technical specifications.

• Develop and verify reimbursement modeling logic, encompassing DRG, APC, per diem, case rate, stop-loss, outlier, and various other payment methodologies.

• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, QA teams, and external development partners to ensure the delivery of scalable product features.

• Assist in AI-driven contract extraction and automation projects by validating contract interpretations, setting up review processes, and defining governance standards.

• Collect customer and market insights to improve future features such as underpayment detection, contract compliance, scenario modeling, revenue forecasting, and strategic pricing.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare reimbursement, managed care contracting, revenue cycle, or contract management.

• A Bachelor's degree is required in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Proficient in interpreting commercial payer contracts and reimbursement models, including DRG, APC, per diem, and case-rate methodologies.

• Experience in gathering business requirements and collaborating with software development teams to deliver technological solutions.

• Strong understanding of healthcare financial data, claims adjudication, and reimbursement analytics.

• Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States.
