Contract Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation, negotiation, and finalization of sponsorship contracts, change orders, amendments, and documents for contract termination.

• Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on contract terms, project scopes, budgets, and timelines.

• Negotiate commercial and financial aspects with sponsors, including study budgets, payment timelines, and contractual commitments.

• Manage modifications to contracts and change orders.

• Create and update contract language, service descriptions, scopes of work, and necessary documentation.

• Organize internal reviews and obtain approvals from Legal, Finance, Operations, Therapeutic Leaders, and senior stakeholders.

• Monitor contract status, financial figures, and key performance metrics through CRM and finance systems.

• Assist in project transitions and foster communication between operational teams and sponsors.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or a comparable blend of education and relevant professional experience.

• Two to three years of experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or similar setting that involves data sourcing, integration, analysis, and reporting.

• Proficient in English.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, notably Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Strong contract negotiation abilities with a solid understanding of commercial contracting principles and general business practices.

• Experience in managing budgets, payment terms, sponsor bid grids, and the financial aspects of contracts and change orders.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills across cross-functional and global teams.

• Familiarity with CRM platforms, especially Salesforce, coupled with exceptional organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
