This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare, negotiate, and finalize intricate commercial contracts and agreement packages.
• Oversee and manage the entire contracting process from initiation to execution.
• Act as the main point of contact among business stakeholders, legal, finance, and various cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate negotiations and resolve contractual issues to aid deal progression.
• Direct the contract review, approval, and compliance processes.
• Formulate negotiation strategies and assess acceptable contractual positions.
• Recognize contractual, operational, financial, and commercial risks, escalating issues as necessary.
• Cultivate and sustain an understanding of business operations, stakeholders, and decision-making processes.
• Offer guidance on contracting standards, processes, and best practices.
• Educate sales and opportunity teams regarding contract requirements and procedures.
• Develop, implement, and uphold contract development and administration protocols.
• Create and maintain contract templates for Acxiom's products, services, and solutions.
• Collaborate with finance on revenue recognition, pricing, discounting, risk management, and financial requirements.
• Monitor client feedback and market trends concerning contract terms and suggest enhancements.
• Drive process improvements, special projects, template management, and contract lifecycle management tool initiatives.
• Proven capability to convert complex business products, services, and commercial arrangements into clear contractual language.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and swiftly adapt to evolving business needs.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity to drive complex issues to resolution.
• Outstanding communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance competing interests while effectively identifying and escalating risk.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to remain calm, composed, and effective under pressure.
• Broad knowledge of organizational subject matter experts and resources.
• Solid grasp of financial and commercial concepts.
• 8-10+ years of experience in technology contracting, commercial contracting, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a law degree and/or professional certification is preferred.
• Experience in the marketing technology industry.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM.
• Experience with Ironclad Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software.
