This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete cycle of clinical recruiting for licensed mental health professionals while also supporting various clinical and non-clinical positions, which includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, and managing offers.
• Create and sustain targeted sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions by utilizing healthcare-specific job boards, professional networks, and licensing databases.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with educational institutions, residency programs, professional associations, and industry networks to develop enduring talent pipelines.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to gain insights into specific role requirements, caseload expectations, and ideal candidate profiles.
• Execute comprehensive candidate assessments that encompass license verification, evaluation of clinical experience, and interviews focusing on values and mission alignment.
• Monitor and evaluate recruiting metrics pertinent to clinical roles, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and retention rates.
• Keep abreast of licensing requirements, scope of practice regulations, and credentialing processes across various states.
• Work alongside the talent team to enhance clinical recruiting processes and improve the candidate experience.
• Represent Blackbird at clinical conferences, job fairs, and networking events within the profession.
• Strengthen recruitment brand management and visibility through strategic content development, social media engagement, and the promotion of employee referral programs, collaborating with our Growth team on branding initiatives.
• Assist with special recruiting projects and initiatives as our team and company expand into new markets.
• Deeply passionate about clinical recruiting and the distinct challenges involved in sourcing healthcare professionals.
• Strong understanding of licenses, certifications, and credentialing requirements across multiple states.
• Possess a data-driven mindset with the ability to utilize and interpret recruiting metrics to inform strategy and process enhancements.
• Comfortable functioning in startup environments—adaptable, resourceful, and process-oriented, with experience working fully remotely and collaborating with distributed teams.
• Experienced in guiding candidates throughout their entire journey, from initial contact to credentialing and onboarding.
• Proficient in balancing speed and quality during hiring decisions.
• Inquisitive and well-informed about trends in behavioral health and talent acquisition.
• Eager to learn and excited by the prospect of experimenting with new recruiting techniques and AI tools.
• 3-5 years of full-cycle clinical recruiting experience with licensed mental health professionals.
• At least 1 year of startup experience with a proven ability to excel in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Thorough understanding of clinical licenses (LCSW, LSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PMHNP, etc.) and their respective scopes of practice.
• Proven success in sourcing candidates through healthcare-specific channels and professional networks.
• Experience in conducting behavioral interviews and assessing clinical competencies.
• Proficient in ATS systems and recruiting tools, with preference for experience with Greenhouse and Gem.
• Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple complex candidate pipelines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clinical professionals.
• Strategic and data-driven mindset, capable of developing innovative approaches for niche clinical roles.
