Content Editor – Mathematics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and/or revise educational resources in Mathematics, ensuring both technical accuracy and pedagogical integrity.

• Adhere to the editorial standards and methodological guidelines set for each collection.

• Independently manage time and priorities, producing work with a high degree of autonomy.

• Evaluate and respond effectively to technical and pedagogical feedback from schools and internal stakeholders.

• Assess content for curricular alignment and adherence to relevant legislation.

• Utilize specialized tools for the layout and editing of mathematical content.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Mathematics or a closely related field with a solid technical and pedagogical background.

• Experience in classroom teaching, providing practical insights into student and school dynamics.

• Background in editing and/or authoring educational materials, preferably within publishing companies or similar roles.

• Proficiency in specialized software for editing mathematical formulas, such as MathType or similar tools.

• A decisive mindset for making prompt decisions and addressing challenges.

• Proactive and autonomous in handling tasks and meeting deadlines.

• Previous experience in the publishing industry is preferred.

• Familiarity with editorial management systems is a plus.
