Contemplative Facilitator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote telehealth contemplative services to clients at Charlie Health.

• Lead group sessions and foster connections with clients.

• Incorporate contemplative practices into various treatment strategies.

• Assist clients in enhancing mindful awareness, nurturing wisdom, uncovering purpose, practicing compassion, and engaging in self-inquiry.

• Provide support for clients with intricate mental health and substance use challenges.

• Collaborate effectively as a member of the Charlie Health team.

• Commit to a minimum of 9 permanent group hours each week for facilitating sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in contemplative practices, including Yoga Therapy, Yoga Teaching, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, or Mindful Self-Compassion.

• Required clinical experience and/or background in mental health or behavioral health.

• Experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults is essential.

• Experience with high acuity populations is mandatory.

• Certification in a contemplative practice and/or possession of a clinical license is necessary.

• At least 3 years of experience in teaching or facilitating within a contemplative discipline.

• A Master’s degree in mental health or a related field is highly preferred.

• Availability for 9 to 40 hours per week is required.

• Must be available during late afternoons and evenings on weekdays (3–8pm MT, Monday–Thursday) and on Saturdays.

• Technical skills necessary to conduct effective telehealth sessions.

• A reliable WIFI connection is required.

• Familiarity with Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox, EMR, and survey software is needed.

• Must have work authorization in the United States.

• Native or bilingual proficiency in English is required.

• This is a part-time Contract/1099 position with potential for full-time advancement.
