This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Advocate for a consumer-centric approach within the marketing team and the larger organization.
• Guide team members in utilizing insights for strategic decision-making.
• Manage partnerships across various functions and agencies.
• Integrate consumer insights into briefs, business cases, and sales documentation.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on insight-driven trade-offs.
• Design and implement research initiatives, including concept evaluations, creative assessments, and sensory analyses.
• Cultivate specialized knowledge in diverse research methodologies.
• Oversee vendor partnerships and manage projects from design through to reporting.
• Convert research findings into straightforward, actionable recommendations.
• Lead internal reporting and presentations that monitor brand KPIs, such as household penetration, brand awareness, and campaign effectiveness.
• Identify trends and their implications for senior leadership.
• Enhance OLIPOP’s understanding of consumers, research tools, and insight capabilities.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, cultural movements, and evolving consumer behaviors.
• Transform trends and behaviors into strategic recommendations that will influence brand strategy and innovation.
• Report directly to the Director of Consumer Insights.
• Over 8 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or similar fields.
• Proven expertise in a specific research domain.
• Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) is preferred; background in beverages is a plus.
• Advanced understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Experience in implementing new research techniques.
• Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Proficient in writing and designing surveys to address business inquiries.
• Capability to advise others on research design.
• Strategic thinker who connects consumer insights with business outcomes.
• Skillful in marketing mix modeling and DIY research tools.
• Familiarity with syndicated tools such as Nielsen, SPINS, or Numerator is preferred.
• Proven history of independently managing high-priority projects and mentoring or advising others.
