This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and develop technical architectures for MES/MOM, Industrial DataOps platforms, and digital transformation projects.

• Convert functional requirements into scalable and maintainable technical designs.

• Stay informed about client business drivers, operational challenges, and compliance requirements.

• Work in conjunction with Functional Consultants to confirm requirements and align success metrics.

• Implement Ignition, Sepasoft MES modules, MQTT brokers, and associated technologies.

• Configure and create MES modules for production tracking, OEE, quality, traceability, scheduling, inventory, and maintenance.

• Design and execute Unified Namespace architectures, ISA-95 data models, MQTT topic structures, and data pipelines.

• Integrate MES/MOM with ERP, SCADA, PLCs, historians, QMS, LIMS, and analytics platforms.

• Conduct Python and SQL scripting and development.

• Lead unit and integration testing and assist with UAT.

• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, data flows, configuration specifications, and deployment procedures.

• Support commissioning, deployment, go-live, troubleshooting, and production cutover.

• Manage technical projects valued under $100K with oversight.

• Collaborate with Grantek India offshore teams and workforce partners.

• Mentor junior technical consultants and engage in code reviews.

• Contribute to the development of technical accelerators, templates, and reusable components.

• Assist with pre-sales demonstrations, feasibility assessments, architecture reviews, proposals, technical estimations, and solution definition.

• Identify ongoing opportunities within current client engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in industrial automation, MES/MOM, or manufacturing IT.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Ignition and/or Sepasoft.

• Experience in implementing various MES functional modules.

• Integration experience with both enterprise and shop-floor systems.

• Strong capabilities in SQL and Python scripting.

• Familiarity with ISA-95 and manufacturing data standards.

• Experience in data modeling and performance optimization.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Self-motivated with a strong focus on execution.

• Clear communication skills with both technical and functional stakeholders.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Strong time management and prioritization abilities.

• Willingness to mentor junior team members.
