Consultant, HR System Optimization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Act as an advisor and intermediary for the implementation of strategies, operations, projects, programs, and service delivery results.

• Design, execute, coordinate, and assess programs and strategic initiatives.

• Offer consultative assistance to leadership within Trinity Health's functional areas.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight over various workstreams.

• Create, implement, and oversee processes, policies, and procedures.

• Deliver technical support, resolve issues, provide implementation guidance, and facilitate training.

• Identify areas for organizational enhancement, create systems for change implementation, and train personnel.

• Oversee and execute small- to medium-scale projects, programs, and initiatives.

• Develop and manage production, communication, service delivery plans, and workflows.

• Conduct informative training sessions for diverse groups with varying backgrounds.

• Research, compile, synthesize, and analyze operational data; generate summaries, visualizations, trends, ROI, and recommendations.

• Establish and monitor data analysis, reporting, and communication systems.

• Configure, administer, and support Workday Help and Workday Journeys, including managing workflows, content, and user experiences.

• Troubleshoot system access and technical issues in collaboration with TIS, Workday support teams, and vendors.

• Create test scenarios and scripts, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), track defects, and validate system modifications.

• Develop visualizations and demonstrations to support change management initiatives.

• Act as a subject matter expert and operational representative for technology projects.

• Maintain logs of technical issues and coordinate resolutions with TIS, implementation partners, and vendors.

• Assist with project planning, status monitoring, and follow-ups.

• Contribute to the HR Shared Services technology roadmap while recommending enhancements and investments.

• Collaborate with HR leadership, process owners, TIS, and external implementation partners.

• Serve as a communication conduit among stakeholders.

• Support privilege access approval and monitoring processes.

• Act as a citizen developer for UiPath and Power Automate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, HRIS Systems, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 5–7 years of experience in supporting HR systems or enterprise technology within a shared services or complex organizational environment.

• Proven experience managing end-to-end design processes, anticipating interdependencies, and coordinating to meet deliverable timelines.

• Ability to consult and collaborate with all organizational levels to develop effective solutions.

• Experience in system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting, preferably with Workday or similar platforms.

• Experience participating in or supporting technology projects, including issue tracking and stakeholder coordination.

• Workday Certification is a desirable qualification.

• Familiarity with relevant federal, state, and local laws/regulations, as well as Trinity Health's compliance programs, policies, procedures, and guidelines.

• Proficient in the use of computers and other technology.

• Ability to maintain a safe working environment and use personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Capacity to assist in emergency situations.

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted on occasion.

• Capability to work under varying environmental conditions and adhere to applicable policies and the Code of Conduct.
