Consultant, FP&A Supply Chain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Prepare, issue, and sustain product standard costs along with associated SAP master data for the introduction of new products or reformulations.

• Conduct material re-costing prompted by changes in the Bill of Material, assessing cost impacts and validating outcomes.

• Manage Pricing and Purchase Price Variance (PPV) processes for designated locations.

• Supervise pricing and accounting deliverables from third-party service providers.

• Address and resolve escalations related to costing and pricing.

• Coordinate both internal and external auditing requirements concerning costing, revenue, and volume reporting.

• Advocate for global standards and best practices in cost and pricing management.

• Reconcile and oversee the balances of Cost of Goods Sold clearing accounts.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements, develop performance metrics, and facilitate team cohesion.

• Provide financial expertise to S/4HANA implementations and supply chain transformation projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related area; equivalent practical experience will be considered.

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or supply chain costing positions.

• A professional accounting designation (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.

• Demonstrated proficiency in SAP or similar integrated manufacturing systems.

• Strong digital and data literacy skills.

• Fluent in English.

• Capability to establish robust relationships with internal stakeholders and manage the performance of external service providers.

• Experience in driving process enhancements and embracing transformative initiatives.

• Ability to handle competing priorities, analyze intricate data, and apply problem-solving skills to supply chain issues.

• Willingness to travel: 0% - 25%.
