This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, execute, and sustain project-specific MEP Quality Assurance / Quality Control plans, procedures, and inspection protocols.
• Create standardized quality documentation, inspection checklists, and acceptance criteria throughout the development portfolio.
• Assess design documents, specifications, and submittals for constructability, quality conformity, and readiness for commissioning.
• Recognize quality risks and implement strategies for mitigation.
• Perform field inspections and audits to ensure installation quality and compliance with drawings, specifications, manufacturer requirements, codes, and industry standards.
• Supervise contractor workmanship and installation sequencing.
• Oversee documentation, communication, and resolution of non-conformance reports, punch-list items, and corrective action plans.
• Maintain quality dashboards and reporting metrics for executive visibility.
• Provide quality oversight for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, fire protection, and life safety systems.
• Collaborate with commissioning teams to ensure installation, testing, startup, and commissioning readiness.
• Validate pressure testing, flushing, cable and megger testing, relay settings, controls point-to-point testing, Sequence of Operations, and readiness for integrated systems testing.
• Assist in resolving issues and closing commissioning deficiencies.
• Hold contractors, subcontractors, OEM vendors, and suppliers accountable for quality standards and contractual obligations.
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing, equipment receiving inspections, vendor quality-plan reviews, preservation procedures, and turnover documentation.
• Ensure complete turnover documentation, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, training materials, spare parts inventories, and preventative maintenance recommendations.
• Collaborate with Operations teams to transition projects from construction delivery to active operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 6+ years of progressive experience in MEP QA/QC, commissioning, construction quality management, or mission-critical infrastructure delivery.
• Proven experience supporting complex infrastructure projects such as data centers, hospitals, semiconductor facilities, power generation, or industrial manufacturing environments.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems commissioning and QA/QC.
• Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, ICC, and applicable code requirements.
• Comprehensive knowledge of quality management systems and documentation processes.
• Strong grasp of construction sequencing and contractor management.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, commissioning plans, and technical documentation.
• Experience with mission-critical / hyperscale data center projects is highly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as PE, PMP, CxA, CCP, LEED AP, CQM, or OSHA 30 are preferred.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM coordination tools, and digital commissioning platforms.
