This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage and implement large and/or intricate construction or renovation initiatives.
• Coordinate all essential resources for the project.
• Communicate with senior management, clients, and other stakeholders associated with the project.
• Supervise field operations, trades, and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Oversee project budgets, costs, expenditures, and financial decision-making processes.
• Administer residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects.
• Perform quality assurance inspections of construction activities.
• Periodically visit active construction and renovation sites.
• Engage with contractors and their representatives.
• Inspect foundations, crawlspaces, roofs, and other elements of building construction.
• Collaborate with vendors, community stakeholders, and diverse teams.
• Occasionally travel to project sites, although overnight travel is not required.
• Utilize laptops, telephones, scanners, copiers, fax machines, construction software, scheduling applications, and office productivity tools.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in an accredited engineering or architectural discipline from a recognized college or university, or a master’s degree with seven years of experience, or no degree with 15 years of experience.
• Ten years of relevant specialized experience in construction and/or construction management, or seven years with a master’s degree, or 15 years without a degree.
• Previous experience working with tribal communities in remote areas.
• Skills in construction project management and construction management.
• Proficiency in budgeting and cost management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams, vendors, and community stakeholders.
• Familiarity with construction software, scheduling applications, and standard office productivity tools.
• Federal construction project experience is highly preferred.
• Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Real ID or passport for commercial airfare travel.
• Must have or be able to acquire and retain a valid driver's license.
• Capability to work atypical hours during site visits when required.
• Ability to be on one's feet and move around construction sites for most of the day.
• Capability to navigate varied geographic and building terrains, including stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Minimum broadband connectivity of 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload; some positions may necessitate 200–300 Mbps download and 25–35 Mbps upload.
• Cellular hotspot or fixed wireless cellular services are not permissible as the primary internet connection.
• Flexible remote work arrangement.
