This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Conduct comprehensive digital quantity takeoffs for commercial construction projects.
• Generate precise estimates for materials, labor, and overall project costs.
• Analyze and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and scope documents.
• Recognize project requirements, exclusions, scope gaps, and potential estimating risks.
• Execute takeoffs and estimates for heavy equipment, metal studs and framing, brick and block masonry, stucco, exterior finishes, and various other commercial construction trades.
• Utilize industry-standard estimating software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and On-Screen Takeoff (OST).
• Structure and manage the estimating workflow in accordance with client systems and processes.
• Collaborate with US-based business owners and project managers regarding project scope and requirements.
• Adhere to estimating deadlines while ensuring a high level of accuracy.
• Review estimates for completeness and precision prior to submission.
• Adapt to varying project types, scopes, and client-specific estimating procedures.
• Assist in project estimating and enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the pre-construction workflow.
• 3–10+ years of direct experience in construction estimating.
• Proven experience in estimating US-based construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong capability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
• Advanced skills in Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and On-Screen Takeoff (OST).
• Solid understanding of US construction standards and estimating practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in estimates.
• Fully fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities.
• Capacity to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with US-based clients.
• Dedicated availability for 40 hours per week during US Central Time business hours.
• Reliable remote work setup.
• Preferred: experience in estimating complex commercial construction projects.
• Preferred: background in heavy equipment, structural masonry, metal studs/framing, brick and block, and stucco/exterior finishes.
• Preferred: experience collaborating directly with US contractors, project managers, general contractors, or business owners.
• Preferred: experience working within various client-specific estimating systems and workflows.
• Preferred: proven capacity to manage high-volume estimating with quick turnaround requirements.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent strong structural/construction background.
• Hands-on experience with professional estimating software.
• Full-time, dedicated remote work availability.
• Ability to work during US Central Time business hours.
