Configuration Management Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage Humana’s Configuration Management Database (CMDB)

• Ensure that assets, systems, and configurations are accurately documented, monitored, and updated throughout their lifecycle

• Design, implement, and uphold configuration management processes and procedures

• Conduct audits and reconciliations to detect discrepancies, unauthorized modifications, and compliance issues

• Facilitate remediation actions for configuration-related problems

• Provide configuration data for incident and problem management, root cause analysis, and impact evaluations

• Record configuration management procedures, policies, standards, and control narratives

• Work in tandem with project and operations teams to address business needs and ensure successful project delivery

• Create and distribute configuration management reports, dashboards, and metrics

• Diagnose and resolve configuration discrepancies in collaboration with technical teams

• Develop and present training and awareness initiatives related to configuration management

• Maintain relationships among IT assets, configurations, and dependencies

• Suggest improvements to configuration management tools, processes, and documentation

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT configuration management

• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation capabilities

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills

• At least 2 years of experience with ServiceNow or other IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms

• CIS – Data Foundations (CMDB and CSDM) certification is preferred

• Previous experience with third-party risk management or cybersecurity programs in a healthcare or highly regulated setting is preferred

• Must have authorization to work in the US without sponsorship from Humana

• Must provide a dedicated workspace free from interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information

• Home internet must have a minimum speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
