This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Formulate and implement the comprehensive conference strategy and content plan in collaboration with the Director of Programming.
• Investigate industry trends, emerging technologies, business challenges, and market dynamics.
• Create session titles, descriptions, formats, and discussion frameworks.
• Continuously update and enhance the conference agenda as speakers, topics, and industry developments change.
• Acquire knowledge about the data center and digital infrastructure market.
• Engage and recruit senior executives, innovators, and subject-matter experts to serve as speakers.
• Oversee speaker invitations, confirmations, biographies, headshots, session details, and necessary materials.
• Conduct briefing calls with speakers and coordinate panelists and moderators.
• Manage the Call for Speakers process, which includes tracking submissions, evaluations, and communications.
• Assess submissions and recommend session and speaker choices.
• Spot programming deficiencies and recruit speakers to fill those gaps.
• Keep abreast of industry news, competitive events, emerging technologies, and market trends.
• Cultivate relationships with industry associations, advisory boards, partners, and community stakeholders.
• Assist in organizing Advisory Board meetings.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams throughout the event lifecycle.
• Provide marketing content and program insights to support attendance, sponsorship, and partnership initiatives.
• Coordinate staging, audiovisual requirements, speaker logistics, and onsite program execution.
• Supervise speakers and moderators onsite, addressing program issues in real-time.
• Monitor session timings, speaker arrivals, and any program modifications.
• Ensure accurate program information is maintained across internal systems, websites, event platforms, and marketing materials.
• 3–5+ years of experience in conference production, content development, event programming, journalism, research, or a related field.
• Preferred experience in producing B2B conferences, especially in technology, digital infrastructure, or another fast-paced technical market.
• Ability to navigate uncertainty, experiment with new ideas, and adapt swiftly in a launch setting.
• Intellectual curiosity and a quick aptitude for grasping complex subject areas.
• Strong research abilities.
• Capability to formulate accessible and engaging business discussions from technical or intricate subjects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in recruiting, communicating with, and managing senior-level executives and subject-matter experts.
• Strong project management skills coupled with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to juggle multiple deadlines and priorities concurrently.
• Comfortable with proactive outreach to executives via phone, email, LinkedIn, and at industry events.
• Ability to collaborate across Content, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
• Willingness and ability to travel to pertinent industry events.
• Experience in the digital infrastructure industry is a plus but not mandatory.
• May be subject to a DBS or credit check if required by the role.
