Compliance Specialist – Regulatory Exam, Audit Issue Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Assist with various regulatory examinations and external audits while preparing for on-site assessments in Binance’s licensed regions.

• Offer a consistent framework for exams and audits tailored to each country, aiding local teams with data requests and presentations.

• Comprehend relevant regulatory requirements to ensure that internal and external audits detect potential control deficiencies and instances of non-compliance.

• Support both global and local compliance teams in keeping policies and procedures current and aligned with the internal governance framework.

• Aid in the execution of critical compliance initiatives through collaboration across functions.

• Create regular status reports, presentations, and documentation for internal reviews and management updates.

• Monitor recommendations and actions from regulators and auditors globally until they are resolved.

• Conduct validation and assurance checks on issue closures.

• Maintain a standardized framework for managing audit and regulatory issues, encompassing engagements, metrics, planning processes, and remediations.

• Collaborate closely with Compliance Leaders, Audit, Legal, Product, and Business Lines.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in compliance auditing and/or advisory roles.

• Proficient knowledge of financial services regulations, compliance policies, standards, and procedures.

• Capability to work independently in a dynamic, global environment while maintaining strong communication with relevant teams across various locations.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and writing skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to a diverse audience.

• Strong project management abilities and proficiency in creating materials suitable for external stakeholders in collaboration with internal teams.

• Proactive, diligent teamwork, interpersonal skills, and conflict resolution capabilities.

• Highly organized and adept at managing complex projects.

• A bachelor's degree or an equivalent international qualification.

• Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills being essential.

• Experience in the crypto/fintech sector is preferred.

• Familiarity with AI technologies and a fundamental understanding of their applications is preferred.
