Compliance Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage compliance projects in alignment with applicable standards and frameworks.

• Create, implement, and sustain compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines.

• Perform internal audits and assessments, documenting findings and areas of non-compliance.

• Offer recommendations for corrective and preventive measures and assist with their implementation.

• Collaborate with stakeholders on risk assessments and the establishment of controls.

• Design, update, and deliver compliance training programs.

• Support and improve the compliance awareness initiative.

• Investigate, resolve, and provide guidance on compliance-related inquiries, incidents, and complaints.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance management and implementation, ideally within IT, consulting, or similar sectors.

• Familiarity with standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 22301, ISO 13485, SOC2, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, GDPR, HIPAA, and DORA.

• Capability to interpret compliance regulations and framework requirements, translating them into actionable policies and controls.

• Experience in conducting compliance or security audits and assessments, covering planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up.

• Proficient in drafting and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, and related documentation.

• Background in security consulting across various industries.

• Strong knowledge of information security, risk management, and data protection principles.

• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

• Proficiency in Ukrainian.

• Excellent documentation and presentation capabilities.

• Knowledge of OWASP frameworks is considered an advantage.

• Practical experience with OWASP SAMM implementation is a plus.

• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent are advantageous.
