Complex/Severe Litigation Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations into automobile accidents involving one or more vehicles that result in property damage and/or bodily injury, including cases with attorney or litigation involvement.

• Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages associated with claims.

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.

• Interact with customers and attorneys via phone calls, emails, and text messages.

• Leverage innovative platforms and tools for claims evaluation.

• Negotiate equitable injury settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.

• Analyze damage details and interpret policies to establish coverage.

• Utilize preferred communication methods of customers and provide updates on claim progress.

• Implement legal and business-standard methodologies in evaluating and negotiating settlements.

• Manage challenging and intricate negotiations.

• Utilize estimation tools, job aids, and settlement platforms effectively.

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of claims in the claims system.

• Safeguard the company's financial interests by adhering to policy agreements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in handling Florida Represented 3rd party Bodily Injury claims.

• Proven experience in managing severe, complex, and litigated Bodily Injury claims.

• Understanding of Florida tort reform legislation.

• Possession of a Florida 6-20 All Lines Adjuster License (Property & Casualty).

• Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone.

• Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time effectively.

• Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability assessment.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

• Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for claims assessment.

• A dedicated home office workspace that is distraction-free.

• Minimum internet bandwidth requirement of 50 MB down/5 MB up.

• Suitable work surface and seating arrangements.

• Background investigation will be required.

• Candidates must be located within the United States.

• Active insurance license holders are required to terminate any existing appointments and cannot hold external appointments during employment.

• Individuals with a resident producer license must surrender it upon request.

• Allstate typically does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas.
