Compensation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform job evaluations and conduct market pricing analyses utilizing leading compensation survey platforms.

• Assess roles across various functions and levels against external market data to inform compensation decisions.

• Create and maintain salary structures, pay ranges, and job hierarchies.

• Evaluate internal pay equity and identify trends, discrepancies, or areas that need attention.

• Assist with compensation review cycles, including merit increases, bonuses, and off-cycle adjustments.

• Generate compensation recommendations and present findings to HR Business Partners and leadership.

• Address ad hoc compensation inquiries and offer guidance on salary recommendations.

• Keep documentation of job profiles, compensation guidelines, and benchmarking methods updated.

• Collaborate with livingHR Principals and client stakeholders to achieve measurable results.

• Monitor billable work and ensure accurate project documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in at least one major compensation survey platform (Radford/Aon, Mercer, WTW, or similar) is essential.

• 3–5+ years of experience in compensation with proven skills in market pricing and benchmarking.

• Strong proficiency in Excel, including comfort with VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data modeling.

• Comprehensive understanding of job architecture, pay structures, and FLSA classification.

• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-oriented consulting environment.

• Excellent advisory, stakeholder management, and communication abilities.

• Experience in consulting, professional services, or multi-client settings.
