Community Moderator – Online Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee pertinent subreddits for conversations related to Study.com and its offerings.

• Engage in Reddit discussions with genuinely helpful and informative responses that naturally emphasize Study.com's value when appropriate.

• Establish a credible and trusted presence through consistent and long-term interactions.

• Recognize trending topics, pain points, and queries in online education to identify engagement opportunities.

• Monitor Study.com brand mentions on Reddit and respond to inquiries, reviews, and comments promptly and authentically.

• Report negative sentiment, misinformation, or competitor mentions for further escalation.

• Submit daily activity logs with links to completed posts, comments, and interactions.

• Provide weekly performance summaries outlining successes, challenges, and recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience engaging on Reddit, with a Reddit account at least 2 years old and an established history, OR at least 2 years of community engagement experience on different platforms.

• Comprehensive understanding of Reddit's ecosystem, including subreddit cultures, community norms, posting etiquette, and moderation practices.

• Excellent writing skills with a natural, conversational tone.

• Capability to craft helpful and informative responses, with promotional elements as a secondary focus.

• Awareness of how community platform engagement enhances brand visibility and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).

• Self-driven and able to sustain consistent long-term engagement without direct supervision.
