Community Manager – Gaming

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop, manage, and expand the HEFTY.GG Discord community from the ground up.

• Serve as the primary voice on Reddit, X, and other platforms where players engage in discussions.

• Address user inquiries and support requests effectively.

• Escalate unresolved issues that require attention.

• Organize and oversee competitions and community events on a daily basis.

• Relay player feedback, concerns, and sentiments to the product team.

• Foster relationships with partnered creators and community influencers.

• Familiarize yourself with the game and its community, including updates, culture, creators, and in-jokes.

• Communicate product-related issues to users during launches.

• Assist individual users with their specific challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building or managing an online community, preferably within the gaming sector.

• Exceptional written English skills.

• Ability to adapt tone appropriately between Reddit, Discord, and X.

• Comfortable addressing public criticism without becoming defensive.

• Good judgment regarding what is perceived as authentic versus corporate.

• Capable of working independently.

• A genuine interest in a game you may not have experienced yet.

• Skills in creating short-form videos, graphics, or memes are advantageous.

• Prior experience with a product prior to its launch is a plus.

• Established relationships with gaming creators or streamers are beneficial.

• Experience in moderating a large or challenging community is a plus.
