Community Manager – Algo Business

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the community across online forums, focusing on structure, rituals, moderation, and daily engagement.

• Respond to inquiries, assist traders, escalate bugs, and handle API-related questions.

• Identify and cultivate power users and strategy developers; manage ambassador and early-access programs.

• Organize and execute offline meetups, hackathons, and strategy competitions in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, and other hubs, as well as online AMAs, workshops, and guest sessions.

• Develop introductory guides, API tutorials, strategy walkthroughs, and backtesting explainers.

• Maintain valuable documentation, sample code, and cookbooks; write and test basic strategies.

• Gather community pain points and convert them into prioritized product feedback.

• Monitor global advancements in agentic tools, AI copilots, and no-code automation, updating users and the product roadmap accordingly.

• Define and analyze community metrics such as active builders, deployed strategies, resolution times, and new-trader retention.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in community management, developer relations, growth, content, or a trader-facing role.

• Solid understanding of algorithmic trading, including backtesting, slippage, and webhooks.

• Enjoy engaging with traders and managing numerous conversations each month.

• Knowledge of the algorithmic trading landscape in India and internationally.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Familiarity with API documentation, sample code, and the ability to explain strategies to beginners.

• Self-motivated individual with strong ownership, comfortable in ambiguous situations, and willing to travel for events.

• Preferably, hands-on experience in building, backtesting, or operating strategies or bots.

• Existing connections within Indian trading, quant, or developer communities are preferred.

• Experience managing large Discord/Telegram communities or organizing meetups and hackathons is preferred.

• Ability to write Python sufficiently to create demos and troubleshoot user issues is preferred.

• Personal trading experience in cryptocurrency or Indian markets is preferred.
