This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Build networks, organize, and host speaker series for ONC interns as well as the external community.
• Create the College Campus Initiative to encourage discussions on political tolerance and practical solutions on college campuses.
• Engage with mentors, ONC advisors, college organizations, and educational institutions.
• Conduct outreach efforts to connect with potential speakers.
• Coordinate all logistical aspects of events.
• Support the planning and execution of ONC booths and networking opportunities at college campuses.
• Work in collaboration with the Director of Community Events, COO, and CEO to establish ONC College Chapters.
• Complete tasks and ensure the team meets milestones and deadlines.
• Manage the scheduling for the Community Speaker Series, both internally and externally.
• Update ONC Eventbrite with event details and organize events via Zoom.
• A keen interest in Event Management or a pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Political Science, or other relevant fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
• A responsive, consistent, and effective communicator, even in challenging situations.
• Ability to work remotely and manage one's own schedule to meet deadlines.
• Experience with Eventbrite is preferred.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace is preferred.
• Availability to attend weekly organization-wide meetings.
• Ability to participate in weekly Community Department meetings.
• Must have authorization to intern in the U.S.
