This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Collaborate effectively with the Business Development Manager, Sales Leaders, career field representatives, and external brokers.
• Cultivate, sustain, and enhance relationships with business leaders, community organizations, providers, primary care physicians, and front office staff.
• Generate referrals and assist in the growth of SCAN Health Plan membership through local and community-focused marketing efforts.
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly enrollment targets by converting leads into enrollments.
• Follow up with representatives and brokers regarding lead data and monitor sales conversion rates.
• Achieve or surpass established weekly and monthly qualified lead objectives.
• Support local market sales initiatives through lead generation and public presentations.
• Distribute approved marketing and event materials in alignment with Corporate Marketing and Compliance.
• Identify, plan, organize, attend, and present at Quarterly New Member Orientations and year-round community education events.
• Provide a monthly activity calendar and ensure that scheduled events are documented; aim for a minimum of 20 events per month.
• Maintain a weekly activity summary and submit reports on a weekly basis.
• Execute provider marketing and enrollment events; coordinate participation from partners.
• Schedule new member orientations and present plan benefits and critical information to aid in member retention and connect them to SCAN services.
• Ensure that events, communications, materials, media, and promotions adhere to brand guidelines and CMS regulations.
• Secure payment approval for community events and manage vendor communications and payments.
• Comply with expectations for compliance and sales operations processes.
• Keep informed about the product portfolio and eligibility criteria for election periods.
• Support SCAN’s Vision and Goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Associate's / Technical Degree or an equivalent combination is preferred.
• A comparable mix of education, experience, and/or training will be considered equivalent to the aforementioned educational requirement.
• 3-5 years of prior outside sales or outreach experience within the Medicare community is mandatory.
• 3-5 years of experience with MS Office applications - Excel (data entry, reporting, formulas), Word (document creation, memos, spell check), and PowerPoint (developing presentations and marketing materials) is required.
• Previous experience in healthcare marketing and community outreach is preferred.
• Experience in business/product network development and/or marketing is preferred.
• Familiarity with healthcare markets, especially Medicare and Medicare Advantage, is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in Chinese or Vietnamese is preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and privacy laws is necessary.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Strong creative problem-solving skills.
• Critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Proven experience working in a fast-paced or implementation-focused environment.
• Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends is required.
• Strong public speaking skills are essential.
• Basic analytical skills are required for technical expertise.
• Basic problem-solving skills are necessary.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are important.
• Must be prepared to travel more than 50% of the time within the assigned area.
• A valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
