Commodities Document Negotiator – Fixed Income Division – Associate/Vice President

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Negotiate, assess, and formulate master agreements utilizing English and New York law.

• Assist Commodities desks in negotiating both physical and financial master agreements along with related documents.

• Evaluate and negotiate ISDA schedules, ISDA annexes, NAESBs, EEIs, credit support annexes, customized physical master agreements, guarantees, and supplementary documents.

• Collaborate with internal teams including Credit, Risk, Legal, Sales, Operations, Tax, and others.

• Ensure that agreements contain suitable terms to safeguard Morgan Stanley in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Engage with clients about Morgan Stanley’s stance in master agreements.

• Maintain up-to-date records of work-in-progress.

• Keep abreast of business and regulatory changes that impact operations.

• Effectively and efficiently execute master agreements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A college degree is required.

• A JD is preferred.

• Preferred experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating ISDA Master Agreements and other trading documentation.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
