This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver technical guidance and leadership for the planning, scheduling, and execution of comprehensive life-cycle commissioning for hyperscale data centers and mission-critical facilities.
• Engage in MEP design evaluations and functional testing of intricate electrical and mechanical systems.
• Support all project facets while collaborating closely with owners, designers, contractors, subcontractors, and various trades.
• Create and assess bid proposals.
• Formulate commissioning plans, testing strategies, procedures, and consolidated program schedules.
• Facilitate effective communication and ensure adherence to owner specifications, laws, guidelines, and manuals.
• Oversee pre-construction activities, including project initiation, kickoff, RFIs, and submissions.
• Coordinate or supervise resource and material forecasting, staffing, scheduling, project meetings, QA/QC, startup, cutover, testing, and project closeout.
• Craft project and program progress reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Predict and track project budgets, profitability, margins, billing rates, utilization, and financial risks.
• Liaise with clients regarding additional fees and change orders.
• Identify potential project risks and enact mitigation strategies.
• Manage cost schedules and value schedules for client progress billing.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and marketing initiatives.
• Foster client relationships, identify new projects, act as the primary client contact, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Mentor associates and assist with training, development, organizational training, and standards creation.
• Contribute to strategic planning and recruitment efforts.
• Lead complex project teams, coordinate personnel, and ensure timely and budget-compliant deliverables.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or a related field, OR two additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 13 years of experience in a related area.
• Minimum of 5 years in managing mid- to large-scale construction, engineering, or manufacturing projects.
• In-depth knowledge of industry trends, project management strategies, construction processes, and best practices.
• Familiarity with strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership strategies, and coordination of personnel and resources.
• Understanding of materials, methods, and tools used in mission-critical construction, commercial buildings, or similar structures.
• Knowledge of the Method of Procedure (MOP) process and work notifications.
• Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore.
• Proficient in the MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Ability to perform effectively in a remote work environment with strong communication, organization, self-motivation, proactivity, and resourcefulness.
• Capability to adhere to company and site safety protocols.
• Competence in analyzing and preparing documents, reports, and correspondence.
• Effective oral and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical information.
• Ability to communicate directly with clients and serve as the primary client contact as needed.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively with onsite and remote team members.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Skill in planning and delegating tasks.
• Aptitude for analyzing complex information and devising plans to resolve issues.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to rent vehicles.
• Must reside near a major U.S. airport.
• Must obtain a valid REAL ID or an acceptable alternative, such as a passport, for business air travel effective May 7, 2025.
