📋 Description

• Lead the creation of a new commercial residential property insurance product line in Florida.

• Formulate and execute a commercial residential program that aligns with the organization's risk appetite, objectives, and goals.

• Develop a comprehensive business plan for commercial residential opportunities in the Florida market, detailing opportunities, risk parameters, and underwriting requirements.

• Establish commercial residential underwriting activities and processes to address potential risks.

• Collaborate with the risk management team to create guidelines, forms, and procedures relating to risk exposure, application requirements, and associated activities.

• Coordinate with leaders throughout the organization to achieve program goals and objectives.

• Track performance, analyze data, and identify trends and opportunities for program enhancement.

• Contribute to setting financial targets and developing and monitoring budgets.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 15 years of underwriting, product development, or related experience in the property insurance sector.

• At least 10 years focused specifically on Florida Commercial Residential policies.

• Over 5 years of demonstrated leadership/management experience is required.

• CPCU certification is preferred.

• Established experience as a leader in Commercial Residential Insurance.

• Strong knowledge of commercial residential policies, underwriting, and procedures is essential.

• Comprehensive understanding of market research methods and analysis.

• Solid foundation in performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.

• Knowledge of the commercial residential market combined with a strategic mindset.

• Significant familiarity with insurance software applications.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Outstanding organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to plan and prioritize effectively.

• Profound understanding of business operations, procedures, and priorities, with a strong capability to support change and deliver value within an organization.

• Proficient in MSO/365 applications, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Must reside in AL, AR, CA, CT, FL, GA, KY, MO, NC, NV, OH, SC, TN, TX, VA, or WI.

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
