Commercial Marketing Manager – Downstream

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Oversee the global launch framework for designated products and services while driving commercialization efforts across the Americas.

• Collaborate with Regional Marketing Management in EMEA and APAC, including China, to tailor and implement global strategies in the Americas.

• Collect and evaluate market intelligence in the Americas, focusing on trends, customer requirements, reimbursement dynamics, clinical practices, competitive activities, and purchasing behaviors.

• Track market adoption, market share, product performance, sales figures, financial indicators, customer feedback, and market research insights.

• Create competitive positioning, tools, resources, segmentation, targeting, messaging, campaigns, pricing strategies, and profitability analyses.

• Convert business cases into annual regional marketing plans, forecasts, growth initiatives, and budget management strategies.

• Set launch performance metrics and oversee execution, customer adoption, revenue contribution, field readiness, and launch effectiveness.

• Identify potential launch risks, obstacles to adoption, and execution gaps, and devise mitigation plans.

• Support commercialization throughout the product lifecycle, including sustaining marketing efforts, portfolio optimization, and end-of-life transitions.

• Cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, customers, and clinical stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Medical Education, Product Management, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Sales Operations, Operations, Supply Chain, and Marketing Communications.

• Direct cross-functional regional marketing projects from strategy formulation to execution.

• Create customer-facing and sales-enablement materials, including messaging, value propositions, training tools, competitive comparisons, and commercialization assets.

• Monitor product performance, suggest optimizations, and define and track regional marketing KPIs.

• Act as a liaison between Americas Sales and global commercial marketing functions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in downstream product or service marketing or commercialization.

• Proven success in regional product launches and go-to-market strategies within a regulated healthcare setting.

• Strong expertise in marketing and commercialization, including medical device commercialization, product lifecycle management, and healthcare market dynamics.

• Experience in gathering and analyzing market intelligence, transforming complex information into straightforward business recommendations.

• Proven ability to lead global and regional launch projects while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

• Capacity to build relationships and influence stakeholders across various functions, organizational levels, countries, and cultures.

• Strong customer orientation and high emotional intelligence.

• Experience in adapting global strategies to meet regional market requirements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, CRM platforms, and marketing analytics tools such as Salesforce.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Must stay updated with and adhere to all relevant Quality System procedures.

• Reliable internet connection and suitable home-office workspace.

• An MBA or another advanced degree, experience in the healthcare or medical device industry, knowledge of medical education and continuing education requirements, understanding of regional healthcare markets and regulatory frameworks, and experience in a global matrixed organization are considered “Even Better If” qualifications.
