📋 Description

• Create and implement commercial strategies aimed at fostering growth and maximizing opportunities within the NHS and healthcare sector.

• Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and business opportunities through data assessment, market insights, and engagement with stakeholders.

• Lead strategies for tenders, pricing, and contracts, ensuring that commercial solutions are competitive, compliant, and focused on delivering value.

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with NHS procurement teams, Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), framework managers, and key decision-makers.

• Serve as a reliable commercial advisor, promoting value-based partnerships and influencing commercial results.

• Enhance contract performance, commercial excellence, and continuous improvement processes throughout the organization.

• Work in tandem with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Commercial Operations to achieve strategic goals and enhance market share.

• Offer leadership, coaching, and support on commercial negotiations, stakeholder engagement, and tender strategies.

• Represent Abbott Medical as a senior commercial leader, fostering long-term partnerships and reinforcing market presence.


⛳️ Requirements

• A business degree or equivalent qualification is mandatory.

• Experience in a sales or commercial role managing UK tenders within the UK healthcare market is preferred.

• Capability to translate data into actionable insights and facilitate informed decision-making.

• Proven track record of establishing consultative and collaborative relationships with managers, colleagues, and customer stakeholders across all levels.

• Strong commercial awareness encompassing pricing, contracts, and value-based selling.

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

• Exceptional analytical and decision-making abilities.

• Familiarity with UK commercial and contract law to evaluate and navigate the ever-evolving marketplace.

• Exhibit the authority, confidence, and intellect needed to engage directly with each customer group on general matters related to tenders and quotes.

• Proficient in general computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
