This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Assist the Sales Team in fostering the growth of the CLS MYA portfolio within GE Vernova's Software & Controls Solutions division.
• Oversee the overall proposal development by liaising with finance, services, engineering, product line, tax, risk, legal, and Order to Remittance stakeholders.
• Aid deal teams in meeting business orders, sales, and margin objectives.
• Assess opportunities and create MYA indicative, budgetary, and firm proposals, including customer negotiations.
• Offer commercial support through risk assessment and mitigation, terms and conditions, financial analysis, scenario planning, and pricing strategies.
• Conduct evaluations for inflation and escalation.
• Convey risks and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, addressing negotiation gaps with customers.
• Collaborate with internal Gas Power Business Lines, GE Vernova internal clients, and external customers.
• Provide price tracking and trending analysis for MYA products during Commercial Review Boards and Deal Reviews.
• Present deals for authority approvals and ensure compliance with the ITO process.
• Manage tender timelines, internal approvals, bid submissions, and order-booking readiness.
• Challenge current tendering practices and suggest innovative collaboration methods.
• Utilize Salesforce.com and CPQ to oversee proposal risk profiles and pipeline forecasts.
• Facilitate handover meetings with Order to Remittance to accurately represent as-sold pricing and scope of supply.
• Lead communications and deal reviews with senior and executive leadership.
• Drive the evolution and continuous improvement of the CLS MYA product line.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or an equivalent field of knowledge.
• A minimum of 10 years of commercial experience in power business tendering.
• Previous experience in evaluating and mitigating multi-year transaction risks.
• Familiarity with complex financial multi-year models and advanced formula-driven spreadsheets.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Knowledge of Software & Controls Solutions (SCS) Business Product Lines.
• Previous technical and/or field experience is preferred.
• Experience in contract drafting and managing and negotiating intricate commercial and legal terms.
• Capability to lead and influence cross-functionally and achieve consensus among multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in managing multiple transactions and prioritizing tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in multiple languages is advantageous.
• Strong business acumen, negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a proven ability to respond promptly to customer needs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• A Master's in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
