This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.
• Construct and uphold a market-oriented perspective on North American white-space prospects.
• Evaluate opportunities based on market size, growth potential, margin prospects, technical compatibility, qualification needs, competitive landscape, and Americhem’s competitive advantages.
• Investigate and cultivate adjacent and emerging prospects in sectors such as electronics, wire and cable, consumer goods, energy, infrastructure, defense, and specialized industrial applications.
• Analyze competitors, material suppliers, processors, OEMs, and channel partners to uncover unmet needs and avenues for growth.
• Assemble a team to identify and progress qualified opportunities through both commercial and technical qualifications.
• Create scalable growth platforms incorporating segment theses, targeted accounts, value propositions, technical specifications, channel strategies, commercialization pathways, and replication strategies.
• Oversee pipeline management, ensure CRM data accuracy, manage forecasting, opportunity advancement, and conversion planning.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Technology teams on product priorities, application development, value propositions, and launch strategies.
• Work alongside Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, and Marketing to address feasibility, supply readiness, pricing, margins, customer responsiveness, and execution.
• Produce executive-level growth recommendations and conduct regular scorecard assessments.
• Partner with vertical commercial leaders to transition sustainable platforms into core business operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive sales/commercial experience.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams, formulating go-to-market strategies, managing strategic customer relationships, and driving growth within a B2B manufacturing, specialty materials, or industrial context.
• Proven ability to initiate and commercialize new business opportunities.
• Established relationships across North America with processors, OEMs, suppliers, distributors, and other industry stakeholders.
• Excellent strategic and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
• Experience in market and competitive analysis, value selling, negotiation, pipeline management, and cross-functional collaboration.
