This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.
• Develop and sustain a market-oriented perspective on potential opportunities in North America.
• Evaluate opportunities based on factors such as market size, growth potential, margin capabilities, technical suitability, qualification criteria, competitive landscape, and Americhem's competitive advantages.
• Investigate and cultivate adjacent opportunities and upcoming sectors, including electronics, wire and cable, consumer goods, energy, infrastructure, defense, and specialized industrial applications.
• Analyze competitors, material suppliers, processors, OEMs, and channel partners to uncover unmet customer demands and growth prospects.
• Assemble a team that identifies and nurtures qualified opportunities through both commercial and technical vetting.
• Create scalable growth frameworks, encompassing segment theses, target accounts, value propositions, technical specifications, channel strategies, commercialization pathways, and plans for replicability.
• Oversee pipeline management, ensure accurate CRM data, and handle forecasts.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Technology on product priorities, application development, value propositions, and launch strategies.
• Liaise with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, and Marketing regarding feasibility, supply readiness, pricing, margins, responsiveness, and execution.
• Generate executive-level growth proposals and scorecard assessments.
• Partner with vertical commercial leaders to integrate sustainable platforms into core business operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a similar discipline.
• Over 7 years of progressive experience in sales/commercial roles.
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership position.
• Proven track record of successfully leading teams, formulating go-to-market strategies, managing strategic customer relationships, and driving growth within a B2B manufacturing, specialty materials, or industrial context.
• Established ability to initiate and commercialize new business opportunities.
• Strong network within North America across processors, OEMs, suppliers, distributors, and other industry participants.
• Excellent strategic and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
• Experience in market and competitive analysis, value-based selling, negotiation, pipeline management, and cross-departmental collaboration.
