This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the quoting and marketing activities for new commercial lines opportunities.
• Evaluate submissions from producers and account managers to ensure they are complete and market-ready.
• Ascertain if accounts are suitable for the Standard/Admitted or Excess & Surplus (E&S)/Non-Admitted market.
• Identify suitable insurance carriers, wholesalers, Managing General Agents (MGAs), and specialized markets.
• Prepare and submit applications, supplementary applications, loss history reports, exposure data, and underwriting documentation.
• Generate quotes for new business via carrier portals, comparative raters, direct submissions, wholesalers, MGAs, and brokerage partners.
• Market accounts to multiple relevant insurers to secure competitive options.
• Liaise with underwriters, wholesalers, and brokers regarding submissions, underwriting inquiries, pricing, and coverage alternatives.
• Negotiate advantageous terms and conditions for clients.
• Analyze quotes based on pricing, coverage, deductibles, exclusions, endorsements, subjectivities, and minimum earned premiums.
• Clarify the distinctions between Standard/Admitted and E&S/Non-Admitted options to producers.
• Provide well-organized quote comparisons and recommendations to producers.
• Keep precise records in the agency management system.
• Set renewal remarketing timelines in collaboration with account managers and producers.
• Gather updated applications, loss histories, payroll data, sales figures, property valuations, vehicle schedules, driver details, and other exposure information for remarketing.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance.
• Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational proficiency.
• Experience with Agency Management Systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Capability to work efficiently as part of a team.
