This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Cultivate and expand relationships with distributors and dealer partners in the commercial building products sector.
• Implement territory growth initiatives that align with both regional and national sales strategies.
• Generate demand by collaborating with contractors, distributors, and influential figures in the market.
• Provide support to distributors through training, product knowledge, inventory management, and issue resolution.
• Transform project opportunities into sales through proactive tracking and customer engagement.
• Manage project pipelines utilizing Salesforce and construction project tracking tools.
• Conduct product and installation training sessions for customers and channel partners.
• Address customer inquiries related to building envelope products and their applications.
• Collaborate with internal teams on pricing strategies, promotions, product launches, and market opportunities.
• Represent DuPont at industry events, trade associations, and customer meetings.
• A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, account management, channel management, or business development.
• Familiarity with the construction, building materials, roofing, insulation, distribution, or similar industries.
• Proven track record of managing customer relationships and increasing territory sales.
• Experience with CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and oversee a large geographic territory.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across Ontario.
• Preferred: Experience with building envelope, roofing, weather barrier, insulation, or other building science-related products.
• Preferred: Background in supporting contractors, distributors, architects, consultants, or specifiers.
• Preferred: Knowledge of construction project tracking platforms like ConstructConnect or similar tools.
• Preferred: Active participation in construction or building industry associations.
