This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Provide technical contributions to market and application initiatives.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to implement customer technical strategies, including product launches, complaint resolution, and new application development.
• Spearhead product development and innovation projects that address gaps in the portfolio, applications, and markets.
• Establish technical capability standards and methodologies for emerging markets and applications.
• Oversee projects originating from North America and manage global teams for cross-regional development and commercialization.
• Ensure proper management and upkeep of laboratory equipment, along with adherence to onsite safety protocols and procedures.
• Act as the primary expert for operating, training on, and maintaining product engineering laboratory equipment.
• Achieve AIB and SBU-based KSI targets, including NES, GP, and ROS.
• Offer direct Application Engineering support to foster proactive growth.
• Recognize and fulfill unmet needs at key accounts and regional/inside sales accounts in collaboration with the Sales team.
• Assist in exploring new opportunities arising from website inquiries and cold calls by providing technical support and solutions.
• Evaluate development projects in the pipeline to ensure timely Application Engineering workflows for customer and market initiatives.
• Contribute to Business Development and Marketing efforts to meet financial objectives.
• Mentor and train new members of the customer-facing applications team and SBU resources.
• Build industry impact and networks with OEMs, allied partners, and industry associations.
• Strong technical contribution to market and application initiatives.
• Experience or competencies in application engineering, product development, innovation projects, customer technical support, and commercialization (not specifically quantified).
• Capability to lead cross-functional teams encompassing Sales, Key Account Management, Business Development, Product Development, Operations, and laboratory staff.
• Skill in developing technical capability standards and methodologies for new markets and applications.
• Ability to oversee North American-sourced projects and manage global teams for cross-regional development and commercialization.
• Proficiency in managing and maintaining laboratory equipment, along with onsite safety protocols and procedures.
• Competence in operating, training others on, and maintaining product engineering laboratory equipment.
• Capacity to identify and address unmet customer and market needs.
• Ability to support initiatives in Smart Surfaces, Smart Healthcare, Antenna, and Energy Storage.
• Capability to coach and train customer-facing applications team members and SBU resources.
