Collector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Convince overdue customers to set up repayment plans using a computer system and collection software.

• Achieve production targets and service standards while maintaining high service quality.

• Adhere to client operational guidelines as well as state and federal collection laws and regulations.

• Accurately record account activities and outcomes.

• Manage PCI data with confidentiality and security.

• Work Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts available between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

• Complete three weeks of paid training, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Work one late night each week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and one Saturday per month from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; schedules will be assigned based on client and company requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Texas outside of the DFW area for the remote work-from-home position.

• Over 3 years of experience in debt collections.

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• A clean background check and a negative drug test result are mandatory.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to multitask in a production-focused environment.

• Basic computer skills and typing proficiency are required.

• Comfortable using multiple computer screens and systems.

• A wired high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 15 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload speed is necessary.

• Maximum network latency of 250 ms is required.

• Personal computer or laptop must run on Windows 10 or newer; Chromebooks, Macs, tablets, or cell phones are not acceptable.

• Computer must be from 2019 or newer with at least 8 GB of memory and one USB Type-A 2.0 port.

• A Logitech H390 headset is required.

• An internal or external webcam is necessary.

• A home office with an Ethernet connection, quiet workspace, and a private area for the webcam is required.

• Must remain visible on webcam at all times through CollabAI.
