Collections Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Gather overdue payments on designated accounts

• Establish enduring relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

• Reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and 90-day delinquency rates

• Carry out collection efforts on invoices and recycling hauls

• Communicate with customers and providers about unpaid balances

• Reconcile and investigate accounts both internally and externally

• Address disputed balances through thorough research and effective communication

• Keep a record of actions taken on customer accounts

• Offer customer service regarding the status of collections and information inquiries

• Compile weekly reports on credit and collection activities

• Execute other job-related tasks as assigned or necessary

• Proven experience in collecting for high-value accounts

• At least 2 years of experience in collections or a related field
